A Statement of Interest is your first step in the potential pet adoption process with AHS. Our process of assessing the applicant starts with a completed Statement of Interest form. With this in hand, adoption counselors will review every application to find a good potential match. We do not do same-day adoptions, and adoptions are not on a first-come, first-served basis. Please keep in mind as well, that filling out a Statement of Interest form does not guarantee you a dog or cat, or a chance to meet the dog or cat you are interested in.
