Your Help Is Much Needed
Help us grow our GivingGrid! Some dogs that our group rescued needed extra measures to help them continue into a forever home—healthy, safe, and happy.
Dental surgeries were expensive, and we are low on funding to help more animals. Anything you can contribute (over $3 please) will go directly and completely toward assisting our cat and dog friends.

Fosters Needed! The Alternative Humane Society has no shelter space – our foster homes are critical to helping us save the lives of dogs and cats! We provide the support, you provide the love ❤
If you’re interested in fostering, please start by filling out an application.

A New Home
We have helped over ten thousand dogs and cats find their forever homes. We aim for the best match between people, homes, and pets, then help make it work.
Safe Enviroment
We foster cats and dogs in the safety and security our members' homes until they are successfully adopted.

Vet Check
Our adoptable animals are microchipped and vaccinated (age allowing) before the adoption process. All cats are FIV/FELV tested.
Home to Stay
We work with you to help smooth the process all the way through. Sometimes a little extra assistance or adjustment can make all the difference.
